Wow, this bread is amazing, no joke! My people devoured it, and I have picky bread people! I love experimenting with sourdough and this recipe is a keeper! If you’re needing to get more fiber into your diet, then this sourdough and oats combo is for you!
I used my Italian sourdough starter for this recipe and it didn’t disappoint. I love using this starter because it’s a little sweeter than my regular sourdough starter.

This sourdough bread is much easier to create if you are a beginner sourdough baker. You won’t have to babysit the bread every hour and you don’t have to play a bunch of stretch/fold games.
In fact, you pretty much leave this bread alone for it to bulk up. It begins very sticky and almost batter-like, but quickly becomes a delightful dough that is fun to manipulate.
It makes amazing sandwiches and is a pretty centerpiece for dinner gatherings.
